The Act provides for the duties of the Chief Animal Welfare Inspector, training requirements and other elements; describes the role of the Minister; clarifies public information duties; and lays down the discipline for the appointment of the inspector. Part III regulates complains; any person, other than an animal welfare inspector, may make a complaint in writing to the Chief Animal Welfare Inspector about the conduct of an animal welfare inspector.
