In particular, article 7 outlines interventions of an environmental character to be undertaken and implemented by the Communes. Article 8 prohibits artificial reforestation. For the purposes of supporting the implementation of the initiatives hereby envisaged, article 3 provides for the setting up of the Provincial Fund for Mountains, whose resources shall be allocated as per article 4. Further provisions regard the establishment of a mountain information system (art. 14), the appointment of the Conference on Mountains (art. 15) as well as the Provincial Observatory for the Development of Mountains (art. 16).
