Abstract

This protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry sets out a framework for cooperation regarding the action plan for afforestation and erosion control mobilization. Within the scope of this Protocol the ministries agree upon the principles and procedures regarding joint projects falling under the mandate of afforestation and erosion control mobilization, such as pastureland rehabilitation and forestry management projects, afforestation of roads, windbreaks, plantations for biological control of pests, afforestation and soil conservation in pasturelands where land reclamation is not possible.
