Abstract

This Regulation implements the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 by providing specifications on waste management, transport and disposal. The Regulation is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Requirements relating to non-licensed waste facilities, waste activities and transporters; Contributions by occupiers of scheduled waste facilities and monitoring requirements; Special provisions relating to transport of controlled waste and Miscellaneous.
