Abstract

There are hereby laid down certain amendments and addenda to the Propagation Material of Vines Regulations of 2004. Temporary experimentation shall be organized and carried out to improve alternatives to the provisions laid down under those Regulations. Community comparative tests and trials shall be carried out for the post-control of samples of vine propagation material placed on the market. Schedules I and II, concerning conditions relating to the growing crop and propagation material, are replaced by the texts laid down in regulations 11 and 12. Schedules III and IV on packaging and official labelling are replaced by the texts in regulations 13 and 14. Schedules V (Characteristics considered in the examination for distinctness, stability and homogeneity) and VI (Minimum conditions for carrying out the growing trials on vine varieties) are replaced by the texts in regulations 15 and 16.
