Abstract

These Regulations establish particular quality standards to be met by any propagation material of ornamental plants which is produced, placed on the market in Malta or transhipped through Malta prior to its transport to another European Community Member State. These standards shall apply to propagation material for ornamental plants which are produced or marketed within the European Union. Regulation 6 describes the general certification procedure to be followed. Particular conditions to be met by the propagation material are defined under regulation 8, whereas regulation 9 sets out the conditions to be fulfilled by suppliers. Regulation 11 concerns documentation and labelling.
