Abstract

This Programme, as in accordance with terms of the Law on food safety, sets out measures aimed to implement the monitoring over the safety of food, items and materials which come into contact with food and animal feed, also on the basis of monitoring of the following key factors: residues of substances or their metabolites with pharmacological action and other substances that may lag behind animal tissues, organs and/or products of animal origin and animal feed, residues of pesticides in food, microbiological criteria in food, food contaminants, undesirable substances in animal feed, food and feed to the presence of genetically modified material, compliance with the composition and quality of food, food information and other related known issues.
