Abstract

This Act concerns protection of plantations against illegal acts. It prohibits loitering or lurking on plantations and the purchase of produce directly from a labourer of a plantation. The legislative power conferred on the Minister under this Act shall extend to the making of Rules providing for the licensing of buyers and growers of and dealers in produce and imposing fees and conditions for the issue of licences.
