Abstract This Order shall apply to trade within the European Union of fresh meat of domestic bovine animals, swine, sheep and goats and solipeds. All parts of these animals which are fit for human consumption shall be considered to be meat. The scope of this Order is to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases and to establish sanitary requirements in relation with the importation and exportation of fresh meat and meat products.
