Abstract This Presidential Decree establishes that until August 1922 silk industry enterprises shall be allocated state budgetary subsidies for compensation of up to 50 percent of transportation costs of produce by air transport and by rail to the USA, European Union and Turkey. Compensation of cost of mulberry silkworm hoods and other material and technical resources required for the production of cocoons, as well as mulberry saplings, delivered by enterprises that are members of the Association "Uzbekipaksanoat" to cocoon-producing entities in accordance with signed agreement on the basis of an advance payment with subsequent offset (with their consent) in the amount of payment for the prepared mulberry silkworm cocoons, is not considered to be a turnover for trade of commodities (works, services). Beginning from 1 January 2020, 50 per cent of fines levied for illegal logging, damage or destruction of mulberry trees shall be used to plant new mulberry trees in the territory where the offences were committed.
