The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree provides for the rearrangement of certain Services of the Ministry of Agriculture at a national and regional level and provides for defining their duties and competencies: a considerable number of procedural issues, including, amongst others, the issuance of aquaculture licenses, fishing vessels and sponge fishing licensing (art. 8) etc, are established herewith. The reorganization regards the Agricultural Research and Fisheries Departments, the constitution of the Department of Expenses for agricultural development, the Laboratory for the control of animal feedstuff and the extension of competences of the Economic Department of the Regional Directorates and Qualitative Control Laboratories. The Decree is composed by 25 articles divided in 4 chapters.
