Abstract This Decree aims to bring the idle capacities of existing breeding enterprises into production, ensure the sustainability of red meat production, plan the producer's input supply in advance, and to serve as a model for the sector. It shall be implemented for 5 years from the date of its publication. This Decree lays down rules for the support payment to contract breeders. The Meat and Milk Institution shall be responsible for determining contract terms, the breeders to be contracted, and the slaughtering, health and carcass quality criteria, and their announcement, implementation, monitoring and for implementing enforcement and control measures.
