The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Decree adopts the amendments to the international Convention MARPOL 73/78 that concern: (a) the amendment of Regulations 9, 10, 16 and 21 of Annex I to the Convention, as well as the revision of Forms A and B, (Parts A and B) and the supplements of the international oil pollution prevention Certificate that is contained in Appendix II of the same Annex (Decision MERC 51(32)); (b) the addition of two new regulations 13F and 13G to Annex I of the Convention, as well as the amendment of Regulations 1 and 24 of the same Annex. Also, in light of the above-mentioned new texts, Form B (Part B) of the supplement to the international oil pollution prevention Certificate, is also amended (Decision MERC 52(32)); (c) the amendment of Regulation 10 to Annex I, as well as the amendment of Regulation 5 to Annex V of the Convention (Decisions MERC 42(30) and 48(31)).
