Abstract

These Regulations declare the areas delineated in the map in the Schedule (the Yasur Volcano) to be a preserved site under the Preservation of Sites and Artifacts Act. The Regulation provide for the management of the site and state that the customary practise of collecting wild cane for traditional houses within the preserved site by the communities living within and around the reserve may continue until provided for otherwise.
