They prohibit the manufacture, importation, exportation, advertisement, sale or distribution of pre-packaged food in Nigeria unless the products have been labelled in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations. They prescribe specific labelling requirements for frozen food and irradiated food. Nutrient labelling shall be required for any pre-packaged food for all non-single ingredient foods.
