Abstract

The Governor-General shall make Regulations with respect to matters covered by the Act. The amount of levy payable in relation to a ship for a levy period for the purposes of section 6 of the Levy Act, is specified in regulation 3. It depends upon the length of the ship in question. Regulation 4 makes provision in respect of measurements of ships. Regulation 5 specifies the rate of charge. A levy or a charge is due for payment at the date specified in regulation 5 and 6. An owner of a commercial prawn boat must make and keep records and accounts showing the information specified in regulation 8. Regulation 10 provides for records relating to export of sea-caught prawns, etc, whereas regulation 11 provides for returns relating to export of sea-caught prawns, etc to be lodged.
