These Regulations come into force on 13 December 2002.
Abstract

These Regulations implement in Scotland Commission Decision 2002/903/EC amending Commission Decision 96/301/EC authorizing Member States temporarily to take emergency measures against the dissemination of Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Smith as regards Egypt. The Regulations add Commission Decision 2002/903/EC to the list of instruments amending the principal Decision contained in the Schedule to the principal Regulations 2001. Decision 2002/903/EC renews the framework within which potatoes may be imported from Egypt into the territory of the European Community during the 2002/2003 season.
