These Regulations come into force on 30 November 2000.
Abstract

These Regulations implement Commission Decision 2000/568/EC amending Decision 96/301/EC authorizing member States temporarily to take emergency measures against the dissemination of the disease Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Smith as regards Egypt. The Regulations amend the definition of "the Decision" in the Potatoes Originating in Egypt Regulations 1998 (reg. 2(2)). Commission Decision 2000/568/EC renews the framework within which potatoes may be imported from Egypt into the territory of the European Community.
