Abstract This ordinance provides for transport of the hazardous goods in the public and private ports of the province of Schleswig-Holstein. The Ordinance requires for compliance with all national and international regulations on loading and unloading of hazardous goods and transport of the goods on the land vehicles. Water Protection Police is the competent authority for public safety in handling of the dangerous goods. The text provides for registration of the dangerous goods before carriage to the port. The Ordinance further lays out for prevention of bringing the goods that are essentially harmful to the public life or environment, and describes the security measures to be taken.
