Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Saarland Water Law in its version of 30 July 2004. The Ordinance applies to all ports and handling facilities in Saarland. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to transport and transhipment in ports and handling facilities. The text consists of 48 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Common provisions for all ports (II); Supplementary provisions for ports where hazardous goods or water-polluting substances are transported or handled (III); Provisions on harmonized inland navigation information services in inland ports (IV); Penalties and final provisions (V).
