Conditions for the right of summary recovery are acting in good faith of the paying co-owner and for purposes of preventing proceedings by parate execution being taken against the plantation. Payment of half of the moiety of the government loan charged on the plantation by an owner of a separate half of the land shall discharge him or her from further liability but shall not affect the subsistence of a lien for the unpaid moiety of the loan on the other half of the plantation.
