All periods are extended. Schedule 3 in subparagraphs (1) and (2) of paragraph 1 relative to plant breeders' rights in special cases. The Minister may authorize certain provisions in contracts for plant breeders' rights if it appears that a plant breeder does not receive adequate remuneration. Other sections which are amended provide for compulsory licences (sect. 7) and application of the Act outside Britain (sect. 39). Minor miscellaneous amendments made to the 1964 Act are set out in the Schedule.
