Abstract

No person shall sow or cultivate any tobacco plant prior to a date specified by the Commissioner for Agriculture (rule 3). Any person possessing or having control over tobacco premises shall follow directions of the Inspector for the eradication, reduction or prevention of the spread of pests (rule 5). Rule 6 provides for conditions of storage. No tobacco shall be removed from quarantaine areas declared by the Commissioner of Agriculture by notice in the Official Gazette. (8 rules and a Schedule)
