Section (1) gives definitions: A pesticide operator is defined as he who has obtained a pest elimination permit from the permits committee. A bate is defined as seeds or fruit treated with a 4 percent Alpha-Chlorelose solution. A pesticide is defined as any preparation containing Alpha-Chlorelose in any concentration. Section (2) deals with the selling of a pesticide by its producer. A producer shall not sell the pesticides produced by him unless he is licensed to do so. The selling of a pesticide will take place only to a pesticide operator with a valid buying permit. The buying permits will be kept by the seller and monthly delivered to the director of the Plant Protection Department. Section (3) to (4) deal with the buying of a pesticide by an operator: an operator shall request a permit in order to buy a pesticide. The director shall evaluate the grade of professionalism of the operator and will check that safety measures have been taken. Section (5) deal with bait operations: a person shall not spread baits unless within a farm courtyard or agricultural fields. Baits for farm courtyard purposes shall be spread upon trays, nylon bags, cement surfaces or any clean surface that consents the collection of the bait. Agricultural field baits shall be uniformly spread for the quantity of four kg per acre. Fruit baits shall be spread upon trays at not less of 1.70 m from ground level. Section (6) provide for caution signs to be put on sight and for the collection of the baits and equipment. Baits shall be collected not before the 20 day from spreading date. Section (7) prohibits the: (a) spreading of baits near human being passage-ways. (b) Baits shall not be stacked unless permitted by the director. (c) Seed baits shall be colored to pale blue for caution purposes. Sections (8) to (9) provide for storage, packaging and labeling regulations.
