I No. 10/2011). Article 1 establishes that for the sale of pesticides sufficient qualified personnel must be available for customers to give appropriate information on the use of pesticides in view of human health and threats to the environment. Moreover, pesticides may be sold only to persons in possession of an authorization to do so.
