Abstract

No person shall sell, remove from his premises or transport any coffee plant infested or appearing to be infested with borer, unless he has written permission from an inspector to do so. Regulation 4 requires the owner of a plantation to report on infestation with a coffee pest. An inspector may by notice in writing order the owner of a plantation which is infested with a pest of coffee order the eradication of the pest (reg. 5) and destroy or order the destruction of infested coffee plants.
