Abstract

These Regulations introduce measures for the prevention of plant pests and diseases affecting tobacco plants. Tobacco lands shall be cleared annually (reg. 3). Regulation 4 prescribes manner of clearance. Cured tobacco from the current season's crop, which has not been sold across the tobacco auction floors, shall not be stored in the same room as cured tobacco from a previous season's crop.
