Abstract The present Act contains provisions supplementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 and provisions on certain other measures to manage plant protection risks and prevent the spread of plant pests. The purpose of the Act is to maintain good plant health conditions and thus promote agriculture, forestry, horticulture and food production business conditions and food safety and product quality.
