Abstract

Pursuant to the provisions laid down under Directive 91/630/EEC, these Regulations establish the minimum standards for the protection of pigs which are confined for rearing and fattening purposes. All holdings falling within the territory of Malta shall comply with the requirements prescribed by regulation 3. Regulation 7 deals with inspections to be carried out by the Veterinary Services. Regulation 11 sets out penalties.
