Abstract

The Act establishes the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and provides rules for the manufacture, importation and placing on the market of medicines for men and animals and poisons. The Act provides, among other things, for the registration of pharmacists and the prescription of animal medicines by veterinary surgeons.
