Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Environmental Protection Act. In particular, the Regulations outline the requirements for petroleum storage tanks in Prince Edward Islands. The text – consisting of 33 sections – deals with the following aspects: application for licence, payment of licence fees, underground storage tank standards, aboveground storage tank standards, piping standards, inventory control, reporting leaks or liquid intrusion, storage tank upgrade and monitoring, out-of service storage tanks, storage tank disposal, The text consists of 33 sections and 1 Schedule.
