Abstract These Regulations amend the principal Regulations of 1994. They implement Council Directives 95/38/EC, 95/39/EC and 95/61/EC by specifying maximum levels of pesticides residues which may be left in crops, food and feeding stuffs. Additionally these Regulations: (a) remove maximum levels which were included in Part I of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations by virtue of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 and which now have been replaced by Community levels.; (b) correct an error in Part 2 of Schedule 2; (c) in implementing Council Directive 95/38/EC, add spices to the list of groups of products to which Community levels apply.
