No person shall sell or otherwise supply to any person pesticide that does not meet the standards prescribed by the regulation in respect to registration, packaging and labelling or efficacy in relation to the purpose for which it was manufactured or made (sect. 2). Sections 4 and 5 are dedicated to the keeping, storage and transportation of pesticides, including provisions on pesticides containers. Section 6 concerns disposal of pesticides and section 7 prohibits the application of pesticides into, upon or over an open body of water unless with proper authorization. Section 8 covers licensing of pesticides services and vendors and section 9 provides for the appointment and functioning of the Pesticides Advisory Committee. Other provisions concern inspections (sects. 13 and 19) and enforcement of the Act (sect. 17, 20, 21)), appeal procedures (sect. 18), offences and penalties (sect. 23) and the regulatory power of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
