Abstract The present Regulations continue in force under the Canadian Environment Protection Act, 1999. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the export of PCB waste. No person shall export PCB waste a) to a country other than the United States; and b) for any purpose other than for disposal. The text consists of 14 sections dealing with definition of terms, sphere of application, export procedures, PCB waste notice, conditions, alternative arrangements, liability insurance and repeal.
