Abstract

These Regulations implement the Environmental Protection Act by further providing on ozone depleting substances. The Regulations prohibit the release of certain substances, define the procedure to avoid such releases and the methods to dispose of equipment that are based on such substances (including refrigerators, air conditioning systems or fire extinguishing equipment). They also provide for certification, leak testing and labelling and record keeping.
