The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 1994.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Law relating to the Federal Water Protection Act of 25 April 1993. Article 1 establishes that the executive board of the Canton is responsible for the enforcement of the federal legislation on water protection. The text consists of 29 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Competent authorities (I); Transfer of enforcement functions (II); Disposal and treatment of waste water (III); Connection requirement and authorization proceedings (IV); Levying of contributions and fees (V); Miscellaneous provisions (VI).
