Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2009.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Power Supply Act of 23 March 2007. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the correct and efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act. Article 1 establishes that the government assigns the network areas for regional and local nets and the concerned electricity supply companies shall be consulted beforehand. The text consists of 13 articles.
