Abstract The present Ordinance is made under the Clean Air Regulation 16 December 1985 and the Federal Environment Protection Act 1983. In particular, article 1 of the afore-mentioned Ordinance establishes that the Ordinance regulates the tightening of emission limits for nitrogen oxides, organic matter and diesel soot in installations within the meaning of the afore-mentioned Federal Environment Protection Act.
