The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2011.
Abstract

The present Law enacts the Federal Water Protection Act of 24 January 1991. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the establishment of a River Restoration Fund. Article 7 lists projects, such as restoration of waters, restoration of fishing population, creation of habitats and spawning grounds for fish, improvement of water quality, research projects. The text consists of 8 articles as follows: Purpose (1); Organization (2); Reporting (3); Application (4); Decisions (5); Proceedings (6); Project (7); Entry into force (8).
