Abstract

Purpose of the present Ordinance is to implement the Council Directive 75/440/EEC concerning the quality required of surface water intended for the abstraction of drinking water in the Member States. Article 3 establishes that an authorization for abstraction of water shall only be released, if the waters or parts of them are listed in one of the three categories (A1, A2 or A3) laid down in the Annex. The text consists of 4 articles and 1 Annex.
