Abstract This Regulation implements rules for the shooting of nominated species of deers, chamois, marmot and black grouse for the 2023/2024 hunting year. The Regulation consists of 16 Articles divided into 6 Parts and lays out principles of hunting, kill targets and minimum and maximum kill and fulfilment of the kill plan. The text describes the areas with unacceptable game damage, and requires for reporting to the competent control body for green submission, confirmation of the shooting report and marking shooting report. Article 14 provides regulations on monitoring the development of the game population and the forest in cooperation with the hunting communities; to support the fulfilment of the target and to document unacceptable damage caused by individual animals or small groups of animals.
