The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 1991.
Abstract

The present Ordinance enacts the Federal Nature and Cultural Heritage Protection Act of 1 July 1966. In particular, the Ordinance regulates the protection of wild living plants and animals. The text consists of 43 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: Purpose and content (I); Principles (II); Protection measures (III); Extension of protection and contributions (IV); Competence and proceedings (V); Penalties (VI); Legal protection (VII); Transitional and final provisions (VIII).
