Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Land Use Planning and Building Law of 3 December 1978. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the correct and efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned Law. Article 2 establishes that the Canton and the municipalities encourage the efforts of nature and heritage protection in particular on the basis of inventories through contributions to the implementation of voluntary measures, through publications, by teaching at school and in any other appropriate manner.
