Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law of 7 May 1995 relating to the Federal Forestry Act. Article 1 establishes that forest planning is the basis and premise for a sustainable forest management. The natural processes in the forests and the habitats of animals and plants shall be respected considering the principles of semi-natural management of forests.
