The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 August 1993.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Land Use Planning and Building Law of 3 December 1978. The Ordinance aims at protecting the forest and forest edges against the effects of buildings and building works. Furthermore, the Ordinance aims to ensure the preservation of forest edges as scenic and ecologically valuable space and to promote its accessibility. The text consists of 12 articles as follows: Purpose and sphere of application (1); Principles (2); Small buildings and building works (3); Exceptional authorization (4); Reasons for exceptional authorization (5); Liability (6); Concept of forest edge (7); Forest assessment plan (8); Forest assessment in single cases (9); Proceedings (10); Transitional provisions (11); Entry into force (12).
