The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 1994.
Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the safe elimination of animal carcasses. They may be employed for the production of animal feed for carnivorous animals only if inspected and authorized by an official veterinary. They may be given only to processing plants in possession of adequate equipment and provided with an official sanitary authorization. Every lot of carcasses shall be accompanied by a veterinary authorization. The same prescriptions are applicable to carcasses destined for the production of canned animal feed, dry feedstuff, etc. The text consists of 18 articles.
