Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 July 1996.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Water Protection Act and the Federal Environment Protection Act. In particular, the present Ordinance provides for the defence and elimination of harmful events by petroleum products, chemical or radioactive substance and articles. The text consists of 28 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: Sphere of application and definitions (1); General rules of conduct (2); Organization (3); Vocational training (4); Equipment (5); Costs (6); Final provisions (7).
