Abstract This Government Ordinance, which is composed of seven paragraphs and one Annex, lays down technical specifications for chemical analysis and monitoring of water status. The present Regulation establishes minimum performance criteria for methods of analysis to be applied when monitoring water status, sediment and biota, as well as rules for demonstrating the quality of analytical results. Analytical methods for monitoring of water status, sediments and biota include laboratory tests, field trials and on-line tests which are used for the purpose of monitoring chemical indicators.
