The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 March 1997.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law 21 January 1997 relating to federal water protection legislation. Article 2 establishes that the Environment and Energy Office is the competent office of the Canton responsible for the enforcement of water protection legislation. The text consists of 27 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Competences (I); Proceedings (II); Planning protection (III); Water protection police (IV); Final provisions (V).
