Abstract The purpose of the present Ordinance is to implement the Energy Law of 3 March. The Department of Energy is entrusted with the enforcement of this Law. It promotes the dissemination of information and counselling on the economic, appropriate, and environment-friendly use of energy. Moreover, it coordinates its work with the federal government, local authorities, and private associations. The text consists of 39 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Competences (I); Promotion measures (II); Saving and utilization measures (III); Final provisions (IV). Eight Annexes are enclosed.
